Ten Tips For Training Your Huntaway
- Until your pup is trained, you must keep an eye on her at all times. If you are unable to then you must definitely cage her. Create a schedule for the pup, that will enable her to settle down quickly. The plan should consist of things such as regular potty visits, feeding times, sleep periods, walks, play time, instruction, etc. A pup that has a very busy day has no time at all for being bored and misbehave.

The doggie must relate his name with pleasant things like hugs, petting, walks, treats, and such. If this occurs he will respond happily if you call out his name.
- Develop a training routine that is short and sweet, about 10 minutes thrice a day. Extensive repeated sessions can be dull and the Huntaway is going to lose interest in the learning session. Help make lessons fun-filled and use trick training sessions to show orders like sit, down, come and so on.
- Bond with the Huntaway and both of you are going to get a kick out of your lessons. The pup ought to wait to spending quality time with you and not keep away from you by running away or hiding.
