- Til your pup learns, you must keep an eye on her at all times. When you aren’t able to then you must definitely cage him. The puppy should affiliate his name with pleasant times like hugs, petting, strolls, treats, and such. If this transpires he will come willingly the second you call his name.
- Develop a training routine that is short and sweet, about ten minutes 3 times a day. Long repetitive sessions can be monotonous and the Smalandsstovare is going to lose interest in the learning session. Help make learning entertaining and use trick training sessions to teach commands like sit, down, come etc.
