Should You Get Your Child The Kishu Puppy?

Should you get a Kishu puppy?Eventually, most parents are going to be asked: “Dad, can we get that Kishu puppy?”

Bergen advises you consider the following before deciding:

Things to Ask Yourself Before Answering Should You Get The Kishu Puppy

Who will be the one to care for the Kishu? Parents and children must come to an agreement in advance who will be the one responsible for bathing, feeding, walking and picking up behind the Kishu.

Do you have space for the Kishu, or does your landlord allow dogs? Families living in apartments or townhouses may prefer a bird, a fish, or cat, instead of the Kishu. Check your local library or Internet to learn more about Kishus to learn if another breed may be more appropriate for your family.

Raising the Kishu is time consuming and not cheap. Family members should realize that they may have to forsake current activities to properly care for the Kishu. If the requirement turns out to be too much of a committment, you should suggest postponing until the child is old enough to help raise the Kishu.

Conclusion: Should You Get A Kishu

Bergen advises the entire family meet the Kishu prior to committing to take it home. Raising the Kishu is a huge commitment, so decide carefully before getting one.
