Chances are, if she has been properly trained, you will only have to get her out in the room, show to her a treat, hold it up a reasonable distance from the ground, say "sit up" and she will do so. Then give her the snack while still in place.

The only prerequisite for excellence is to practice with your Old Croatian Sighthound several times daily until she will sit up when commanded to and without being shown a snack; give her the rewards only after she has adhered to the direction.

You have now the foundation for teaching your Old Croatian Sighthound many other skills. She can now learn to beg by moving your hand up and down in front of her paws, which she will move in sync with yours. She can also learn to salute by bringing one paw to the side of her head, or to keep a toy in her mouth, or to wear a hat on her head or wear other clothing.

While teaching a Old Croatian Sighthound to tolerate being dressed up, do not try to make her wear too many items at one time. Try at first with a cap. After she becomes accustomed to that you can put on a jacket and eventually introduce her to the other garments.
