Sitting is one of the first techniques that should be taught to a Cimarron Uruguayo and is the groundwork for myriad other techniques. To train a Cimarron Uruguayo to sit up, prepare some snacks as a perk, and place your Cimarron Uruguayo on her backside in a corner, to ensure that she is not able to fall either backward or sideways and has very little or no room to lose balance.
Teach Your Cimarron Uruguayo to Sit: Familiarize Her With The Command
Stop her from pitching forward by holding 1 hand on her chin and with your other hand hold her snack above the Cimarron Uruguayo’s face. Keep saying distinctly and deliberately, “sit up.” Do not make her sit too long at one time, but do repeat the lesson regularly and reward her frequently with a lot of praise and treats.
Teach Your Cimarron Uruguayo to Sit: Help Her Balance
In the initial lesson your Cimarron Uruguayo will demand significant help and support from you to prevent her from falling forward, but as she gains control of the balancing muscles and understands what you want, she will rely less and less on your hand to hold her in position. Then you can gradually give your Cimarron Uruguayo less assistance until you will merely have to keep one hand in position two or three inches from her neck or chin, to be ready to prevent her from falling forward; in the future you may remove your hand completely and just dangle the treat right above the level of your Cimarron Uruguayo’s head.

With constant practice your Cimarron Uruguayo will stay seated for a long time after you get her to sit. Next she should be set up against your wall, so as to provide her a support for her back. Immediately after she has soaked up this and can maintain her position easily, rehearse with her using chair legs, pillows or other objects that give her less and less assistance. In the end she will be able to preserve her stability and sit up without having something to lean on.

Throughout all this training the words "sit up" will have been impressed upon her mind through frequent repetition. Last here's the final training to teach your Cimarron Uruguayo to sit up right after she hears the words. There's a great chance, if she has been diligently taught, you will only have to get her out into the room, reveal to her a snack, hold it up a suitable distance from the floor, say "sit up" and she will obey. Then just give her the treat while still in position.
The only prerequisite for perfection is to train with her multiple times daily until she sits up on command and without being shown a treat; give her the snacks only once she has obeyed the direction.
Teach Your Cimarron Uruguayo Other Tricks
You have now the method for teaching your Cimarron Uruguayo many other tricks. She can now learn how to beg by moving your hand up and down in front of her paws, which she'll move in rhythm with yours. She also can be taught to salute by moving one paw up to the side of her head, or to keep a toy in her mouth, or to wear a hat on her head or wear other clothing.
In teaching a Cimarron Uruguayo to submit to being dressed up, do not try to make her wear too many things simultaneously. Try at first with a hat. Once she gets familiar with that you can put on a coat and eventually introduce her to more clothes.
