There are without a doubt as many ways to care for a English Bulldog puppy as there are to raising a kid. In reality, one way per household in general! How many times have we heard, “My English Bulldog simply won’t listen to me”, or “He just won’t act!”
English Bulldogs do not understand English until we train them.
The main thing we all like about English Bulldog puppies most is the way in which they live for us, the way they focus all they have on us, the method our lives end up being theirs. In the beginning, they study us to learn our body movement, our expressions and our language. Till we teach them the English language, it’s all they have. Do not penalize your puppy when he makes a house-breaking mistake. These are YOUR fault. The age of your English Bulldog in weeks and his size identify how often he must go out. Once per hour is not too much for a big 6-week old puppy, specifically if it is summertime. English Bulldogs enjoy the exciting smells outdoors, so there is no reason to not have him housebroken by 7-8 weeks old. Right after a nap, after he eats and after grooming are the key times, and he will inform you. If he is happily chewing a toy and gets up unexpectedly with his nose to the flooring, move rapidly! And every time he goes potty outside, applaud him to high heaven! “What a good PUP!”, “EXCELLENT go potty!” and so on. English Bulldogs enjoy our delighted faces, and they will do anything to get it.

Due to this, the worst penalty you ever need to offer your English Bulldog is a grimace and to turn away from him. You can see his tail drop and his face get so unhappy. He will understand the lesson, I ensure it. However his attention period is only 3-5 minutes, so do not deride him any longer. Love him up and offer him your happy face once again. Physical punishment is never ever needed. Choose constant commands and loving praise and he will understand what you want of him before you know. He will become a master of your body language and facial expressions in no time at all.
Naturally there are many elements of training your English Bulldog puppy well. Loving compassion works just as well for English Bulldog puppies as it does with kids, producing a happy, well-adjusted and obedient dog for life. These 3 important suggestions, used regularly with confidence, will start him well on his way.
