“On Trust” and “Paid For” for is one of the earliest dog tricks that has been supplying as much pleasure as anything a dog can do from the early 1900s. It is a great trick to teach your Beagle-Harrier. It is not the most convenient trick to be learned but it can be elaborated on and shown in a number of different ways to impress many people.

Next, release his head, stating “paid for,” and give him a little touch underneath the chin. This will trigger him to toss the treat up and catch it. Obviously, in his first attempts he won’t have the ability to catch the snack, but he must be permitted to consume the snack after it lands on the floor.
It’s a fantastic trick for your Beagle-Harrier
Constant repetition of this training will produce efficiency. Over time you should stop restraining his head with your hand and enable him to stabilize the snack on his nose till you state “Paid for.”
He can also be taught to hold the treat in between his teeth and to not swallow it up until told to do so. This trick can be made more impressive by holding a conversation with your Beagle-Harrier. For example, you might say: “Buddy, old boy, here is a really delicious treat, but it is ‘on trust.'”
Somewhat stress the word “trust” and then say: “I am pleased you do not like eating things on trust, but this I have just discovered has been ‘paid for,'” highlighting the words “paid for.”
Your Beagle-Harrier can likewise be taught to toss the snack upon hearing a certain number. To teach this, balance it on his nose and hold his head while you count clearly and deliberately, one, two, three, and after that tap him under the chin. Before he has learned the technique he will toss it up as often at one, two, four, as he will at 1, 2, 3, but he must be drilled up until he will not toss it up until he hears “three.” It will make it easier for him if you slightly emphasize the “3” word.
After a while you can use many combinations of numbers and he will wait till he hears the emphasized “three.” As you are teaching him do not make him wait too long prior to you state “3,” and permit him to eat the snack.
“Trust” and “Paid For” may be a considerably challenging trick for your Beagle-Harrier to perfect and needs a lot of persistence from you. Remember, do not penalize your Beagle-Harrier if he can’t perfect the trick, rather blame yourself for being a poor teacher.:–RRB- In any case, enjoy teaching your Beagle-Harrier this trick and have great deals of fun along the way.
