“On Trust” and “Paid For” for is one of the earliest dog tricks that has been offering as much amusement as anything a dog can possibly do from the early 1900s. It is a terrific trick to teach your Eurasier. It isn’t the easiest technique to be learned however it can be elaborated on and demonstrated in several various ways to impress a lot of people.
To teach your Eurasier this trick, call your dog to you, enabling him to stand up or take a seat, as he wants, and hold his head stable with one hand, while you hold a snack on his nose.
Teach your Eurasier the “on trust” trick
Say to him, “On trust, on trust,” steadying and restraining his head from shifting with one hand while holding up a threatening finger with the other and reciting the words, “On trust, on trust”.
Teach your Eurasier the “paid for” trick
Next, let go of his head, stating “paid for,” and give him a little nudge underneath the chin. This will cause him to toss the treat up and catch it. Obviously, in his earlier efforts he will not be able to capture the treat, but he should be allowed to consume the treat after it lands on the ground.
It’s an excellent trick for your Eurasier
Constant repeating of this training will produce efficiency. Over time you must stop restraining his head with your hand and permit him to balance the snack on his nose up until you state “Paid for.”
He can also be taught to hold the snack in between his teeth and to not swallow it up until informed to do so. This trick can be made more impressive by holding a conversation with your Eurasier. For instance, you might say: “Pal, old man, here is a very delicious treat, however it is ‘on trust.'”
Slightly stress the word “trust” and then say: “I am delighted you dislike consuming things on trust, however this I have just found out has actually been ‘paid for,'” emphasizing the words “paid for.”
Your Eurasier can also be taught to toss the snack upon hearing a certain number. To teach this, balance it on his nose and hold his head while you count clearly and intentionally, 1, 2, 3, and then touch him under the chin. Before he has learned the trick he will toss it up as often at 1, 2, 4, as he will at 1, 2, 3, but he needs to be drilled up until he will not toss it until he hears “3.” It will make it much easier for him if you somewhat highlight the “3” word.
Eventually you can utilize many combinations of numbers and he will wait up until he hears the emphasized “3.” While training him do not make him wait too long before you state “three,” and allow him to eat the treat.
“Trust” and “Paid For” might be a considerably challenging trick for your Eurasier to master and requires a lot of perseverance from you. Remember, do not punish your Eurasier if he can’t master the trick, rather blame yourself for being a lousy teacher.:–RRB- In any case, take pleasure in teaching your Eurasier this trick and have loads of fun while you’re at it.
