Next, let go of his head, saying “paid for,” and give him a little nudge under the chin. This will cause him to toss the treat up and catch it. Naturally, in his earlier attempts he will not be able to catch the treat, but he needs to be permitted to eat the snack after it lands on the floor.

Continuous repetition of this training will produce effectiveness. Over time you need to stop limiting his head with your hand and permit him to stabilize the snack on his nose until you state “Paid for.”
He can also be taught to hold the treat between his teeth and to not swallow it until told to do so. This trick can be made more remarkable by holding a conversation with your East Siberian Laika. For example, you may state: “Pal, old boy, here is a very yummy snack, but it is ‘on trust.'”
Slightly stress the word “trust” and then state: “I am grateful you do not like eating things on trust, but this I have just discovered has been ‘paid for,'” emphasizing the words “paid for.”
Your East Siberian Laika can also be taught to toss the snack after hearing a specific number. To teach this, balance it on his nose and hold his head while you count clearly and deliberately, one, two, three, and then nudge him under the chin. Before he has learned the technique he will toss it up as often at 1, 2, 4, as he will at 1, 2, 3, however he should be drilled till he will not toss it until he hears “3.” It will make it simpler for him if you somewhat emphasize the “3” word.
After a while you can utilize numerous combinations of numbers and he will wait up until he hears the highlighted “3.” While training him don’t make him wait too long prior to you say “3,” and permit him to eat the snack.
“Trust” and “Paid For” might be a considerably tough trick for your East Siberian Laika to master and needs lots of perseverance from you. Remember, do not punish your East Siberian Laika if he can’t master the trick, rather blame yourself for being a lousy teacher.:–RRB- In any case, take pleasure in teaching your East Siberian Laika this trick and have loads of fun while you’re at it.
