In her 1st lesson your Kromfohrlander will demand quite a bit of help and support from you to keep her from tumbling forward, but as she gains better control of the balancing muscles and is aware of what you want, she will count less and less on your hand to keep her in position. Then you can gradually give her less help and support until you’ll just have to keep one hand in position 2 or 3 inches from her neck or chin, to be waiting to stop her from falling forward; in the future you can easily remove your hand completely and just dangle the snack right over the level of her face.
Teach Your Kromfohrlander To Sit: Remove the Assistance Eventually
After constant training your Kromfohrlander will stay seated well after you get her to sit. Next she should be set against your wall, so as to provide her a support for her back only. Soon after she has gotten the knack of this and can maintain her position effortlessly, rehearse with her using chair legs, pillows or other objects that provide her less and less support. Eventually she will understand how to maintain her equilibrium and sit up without needing anything to lean on.
Teach Your Kromfohrlander to Sit: Putting It All Together
In the course of all this training the command "sit up" will have been instilled upon her psyche with the assistance of constant repetition. She can also learn to salute by bringing one paw up to the side of her head, or to keep a wooden pipe in her mouth, or to wear a hat on her head or wear other clothing.
When training a Kromfohrlander to accept being dressed up, do not try to make her wear too many clothes at once. Try her at first with a hat. Only after she becomes familiar with that you could put on a coat and slowly and gradually introduce her to more garments.
