Sitting up is one of the first skills that should be taught to a Austrian Pinscher and is the groundwork for several other techniques. In order to train a Austrian Pinscher to sit up, prep some snacks as a reward, and put your Austrian Pinscher on her haunches in a corner, to ensure that she can not fall either backward or sideways and has very little or no room to stumble.

Stop her from falling forward by holding 1 hand under her chin and with the other hand hold the reward above her face. Keep repeating clearly and intelligibly, “sit.” Don’t force her to sit too long at one time, but do repeat the instruction frequently and reward her frequently with loads of recognition and treats.
Teach Your Austrian Pinscher to Sit: Help Her Keep Her Balance
During the very first lesson your Austrian Pinscher will demand a surprising amount of support from your hand to prevent her from falling forward, but as she gains better control of the balancing muscles and recognizes what you want her to do, she’ll rely less on your hand to hold her steady. Then you can gradually give her less help till you’ll only have to leave one hand in position two or three inches from her chin or neck, to be available to prevent her falling forward; eventually you can probably take away your hand and just simply suspend the snack right above the height of her face.
Teach Your Austrian Pinscher To Sit: Remove the Aids Slowly
With regular training your Austrian Pinscher will stay seated for a good while after you make her. Then she should be set against your wall, so as to offer her a support for her back. Only after she has gotten the knack of this and can keep her place effortlessly, rehearse with her against chair legs, pillows or other items that provide her less and less aid. Ultimately she will learn to preserve her stability and sit without needing something to lean against.
Teach Your Austrian Pinscher to Sit: Putting It All Together
During all these lessons the words "sit up" will have been ingrained upon her psyche by means of regular repetition. Now is the final training to teach your Austrian Pinscher to sit up immediately after she hears the phrase. It's highly likely, if she has been diligently trained, you will merely have to get her out into the room, display a reward, hold it up a suitable distance from the ground, say "sit" and she'll obey. Then give her the reward while still in position.
The only criteria for excellence is to rehearse with her several times a day until she will sit up when commanded to and without being shown a reward; give her the rewards only after she has followed the direction.
Teach Your Austrian Pinscher Other Tricks
You have now the fundamentals for teaching your Austrian Pinscher many other skills. She now can learn how to beg by moving your hand up and down in front of her paws, which she'll move in sync with yours. She also can be taught to salute by bringing one paw up to the side of her head, or to keep a toy in her mouth, or to wear a hat on her head or wear other articles of clothing.
In teaching a Austrian Pinscher to submit to being dressed up, don't try to get her to wear too many garments at once. Try at first with just a hat. Only after she becomes used to that you could put on a jacket and little by little introduce her to the other garments.
