Snacks are a great reward but other prizes could be verbal commendation and toys. Multiple brief sessions are demonstrated to be better than 1 long one. Training shouldn’t contain any negative components or consequences. There should be no shouting, no hitting or smacking, no leash yanking on choke leashes or collars, and absolutely no electricity!
