Do you have an area for the Sapsali, and does your landlord allow dogs? Families living in apartments or townhouses may be better suited to a bird, a cat, or fish, instead of the Sapsali. Check with the library or online to learn more about Sapsalis to decide if another animal may be more suitable for your family.
Raising the Sapsali is a big committment and may be expensive. The family must realize that they will have to forego existing activities to properly care for the Sapsali. If this thought seems too much of a committment, parents should consider delaying until the child is committed enough to help care for the Sapsali.
