“On Trust” and “Paid For” for is one of the oldest dog tricks that has been offering as much amusement as anything a dog can possibly do from the early 1900s. It’s a fantastic trick to teach your Stabyhoun. It isn’t the easiest trick to be learned but it can be built upon and shown in several different variations to impress the majority of people.
To teach your Stabyhoun this trick, call him to you, permitting him to stand or take a seat, as he needs, and hold his head stable with one hand, while you balance a treat on his nose.
Teach your Stabyhoun the “on trust” trick
State to him, “On trust, on trust,” steadying and limiting his head from moving with one hand while holding up a warining finger with the other and reciting the words, “On trust, on trust”.
