All of us imagine training the perfect Bull Terrier, a pup that’s a CGC or canine good citizen and is very well behaved and reliable at all times. - Till your pup learns, you must keep an eye on him at all times. Whenever you can not then you will need to cage her. Design a calendar for the pup, that will help her to settle down fast. The calendar should include things such as hourly potty visits, eating times, relaxation periods, walks, play time, exercise, etc. A pup that has a hectic day has no time to become bored and misbehave.
- Teach the pup to respect you. Bull Terriers stay in packs and instinctively comply with a leader. Once you establish your leadership in no uncertain terms then training will end up being easy because the pup will follow you at all times and not test your power.
- Utilize exclusively positive training techniques. Don’t holler at, hit, or punish your Bull Terrier. It is not just unkind but may cause behavioral concerns. Using electrical shocks, prong collars, sprays, and so on could very well wound the animal.
